Harper Sefton's Piece: Arc Welding

“I chose this photograph because I was drawn to the industrial setting, the contrast of the sparks, and the lighting. But what attracted me the most was the message it sent. This photo demonstrates the determination it takes to weld, and it brings light to an often-forgotten but essential industry. Through this photo I hope to inspire an appreciation for the beauty that technical skills can craft.”

Lily Crosby's Piece: What Happens Next

“Where is the whale headed? How is a town built on it’s back? Does it look sad? Maybe as the artist you’d believe I have the answers. But there’s endless possibilities. As writers create stories, I view a blank canvas as they view a blank page. This surrealist inspired art piece allows the viewer to decide what happens next.”
