  I have been very blessed as this is my 26th year here at Freeman.  Freeman is a wonderful community with outstanding students and parents.  That is why my family and I chose to move into the district and raise our kids here.  There is no better place, in my opinion, than Freeman.

    I grew up in Spokane and attended district 81 schools.  I graduated from Rogers High School in 1988.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University and my master's degree from Lesley College in Cambridge Massachusetts.  Right out of college I substitute taught for district 81 for a short period and then was hired by Freeman to teach 5th grade.  I taught 5th grade for six years, and then I moved up to the 6th grade.  I have been teaching 6th grade for the past twenty years.  During my time here at Freeman, I have had the opportunity to coach both baseball and wrestling.
