Free and Reduced Price Meals

 Free and Reduced Price Breakfast and Lunch applications were distributed with the student update packets.  The application can also be downloaded on this website.  Extra forms are available at all school offices.  Please read the form very carefully-making sure that all information, especially case numbers and are correctly recorded. If you have any questions, please call Marci McGill at 291-7510.  A properly completed form can be processed and approved quickly. A letter will be mailed home notifying you of the status of your free and reduced application

Payments to your child’s lunch account may be made by sending check or cash to school with your student.   Please put your check or cash in an envelope and seal it. Print clearly on the envelope your child’s name and teacher’s name.  One check can be written for all the students in the household but it is very important that each child’s name and teacher is listed on the check and the amount to deposit into each account is clear. The envelope will then go into the classroom Bank a Meal envelope to be sent to the office.   Money may be deposited any school day.  We do have a new online payment option available (see above).

Watch for the “Pizza” Stamp

We will notify you that your student needs money in his or her account by placing a stamp on your student’s hand requesting money be sent to school.  When your elementary student has two meals left on the account a “Pizza” stamp will be placed on the student’s hand.  Also, you will be receiving notification by phone when there is a $5.00 balance remaining. 

We have a no charge policy for meals.  It’s important to keep your student’s account current.  We encourage you use the district website under “Family Access” and review your child’s current lunch account balance.  On line payments can be made in Skyward Family Access for your convienence. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Fuel Smart!  Freeman Nutrition Services offers fresh produce on a daily basis for all grades. In addition, you will find on our menus whole grains, such as brown rice, whole wheat rolls, tortillas, pancakes and desserts.  Lean protein and milk is essential as well to help fuel minds and bodies.  We feel nutrition in key in contributing to optimal performance in learning and physical activity.
