Students have many oppotunities to be rewarded for good behavior. They can earn class, group, and individual points. All points are tied to some type of reward.
There are also consequences for inappropriate behavior. In most cases, students will receive a warning before a consequence happens. Students keep track of tallies on their desk. Any tallies (redirection) will be recorded on a behavior sheet that is sent home to parents every Friday. Parents need to sign and return the student's bahavior chart every week. Students may also miss time from their recess as a consequence for not following school expectations.
If the child has had several reminders and tallies, you may receive a phone call from your child. They will tell you what behaviors required conseqences and will lose an entire recess.
