Mrs. Dexter

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!

I am looking forward to my 19th year of teaching at Freeman Elementary! This year I will be teaching third grade, and I am excited for the adventures and learning opportunities that await us!

I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Major in Elementary Reading, a Minor in Elementary Math, and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. I spent my elementary, junior high, and high school years attending school at Freeman! It is an amazing community and a very special place to grow up and now work. Truly, Freeman is a unique environment that embraces the opportunity to educate children of all backgrounds. What a blessing it is to work with parents and coworkers like ours!

I live in the Spokane Valley with my amazing husband David, two adventure loving boys, a cat, a bird, two rabbits, some chickens and even a few fish! We all enjoy being outside working, boating, gardening, hiking, biking and playing.

Teaching is my calling. I love helping and watching children learn. It is my passion. I take great pride in accepting the responsibility to educate your child. Please never hesitate to call or email with questions or updates regarding your child. You know your child best, and I am always happy to learn how to better reach my students!
